Tactical Survival Gear

One facet of survival that needs to be considered when facing a tragedy is surviving the human element. It might seem that you are 100% ready with food, water, shelter, plus some survival gear saved in your bug out bag. You could also be dead wrong. What exactly are you likely to do when someone try's to take your gear from you? Are  The Prepper Live  ready to protect your gear or will you just hand it over? Are you experiencing any tactical survival gear that will assist you overcome the adversary? Do you even understand what tactical survival is?

Those are some essential questions. You may think that no-one would ever try to take your gear from you, but you are wrong. Human nature has proved often that hunger and fear will drive people to do things that they would not normally do.

https://anotepad.com/notes/2e3jwhqw  might be wondering what tactical survival is. I think of it as a way to gain a short-term survival goal. For instance, if you are attacked as in the scenario above and the assailants have only clubs and knives, then a good tactical plan for you could be to employ a concealed handgun assuming you have one (and discover how to use it). Using the concealed weapon is section of your tactical survival plan to deal with the assailants. The concealed weapon is part of your tactical survival gear.

Before you latch on that idea though, please understand that I am by no means recommending this action, this is just a good example. Brandishing a weapon once you have not been properly trained with it could cost you a lot more than your gear. Any hesitancy on your own part or fumbling with the weapon can easily cost you your life. Also, don't ever assume that your only adversaries will be the ones in front of you. A good gang could have their backs included in a man with a rifle and scope. They step away from you and "bang" you're dead.

There are many other activities that you can use in your tactical arsenal to help you deal with situations. You could have a couple of lock picking tools to help you evade adversaries. You can have several different blades on your body to assist you escape in case you are captured: a neck knife, boot knife, belt buckle knife, and a wallet knife. A pocket pepper spray may come in handy. You can find even tactical pens which are effective weapons.

Wearing clothing and gear that help you blend into your surroundings is considered tactical survival gear. For anyone who is in an urban environment try not to stand out by "looking" like you are prepared. Having your bug out bag in a tactical backpack with digitized woodland camouflage can only be looked at tactical out in the woods; it'll cause you to a target in the town. In the city you will end up better served with a daypack or perhaps a messenger bag.

As you can see, there are many situations that could be considered when making your survival strategy, and acquiring your survival gear. Your long-term, strategic survival planning needs to be balanced well with some short-term, tactical survival planning. Add to that some good survival gear, and working out to use it properly, and you also have a recipe that will ensure that you wil survive your next disaster.
